本種はヨーロッパと日本から知られる。日本では今のところ本州の山地から知られている。日本では、4～5月に様々な花や新葉から得られている。オスは日本では未知。

This species is recorded from Europe and Japan. In Japan, it is known from the mountainous area of Honshu so far and it is obtained from the flowers or young leaves of various plant families in April to May. Male is unknown in Japan.
